OUR CLASSES

Senior class-28.jpg

Traditional Strength Training

Using resistance training principles, our TST sessions focuses on building absolute strength by working one muscle group at a time to exhaustion using heavy weights and resistances. Targeting either the upper or lower half of the body at least twice a week with regular benchmarking test, our TST sessions encompasses the prescription of conventional gym-based training exercises such as bench press, triceps extensions, pull-ups, and squats.

Benefits: Increase muscle mass, increase muscle strength, stronger bones, improved joint flexibility, weight control, and improved balance.

Functional Fitness Training

Focusing on movement rather than equipment, our FFT sessions aim to develop functional strength specific to the activities performed in our daily lives or in the sports we participate in. FFT sessions involve full body movements and it's the most important strength to develop for sports that are not related to weightlifting. Each FFT session is structured differently using exercises and training protocols that focuses on developing cardiovascular fitness, power output, functional strength or a combination of them all.

Benefits: Improved movement patterns, improved movement efficiency, improved coordination and mobility, increased calorie burn, and improved aerobic capacity.
